Employee of the Year 2009

Congratulations to Captain / Chaplain Dennis Allen

who has been named Hendersonville Fire Department

Employee of the Year for 2009 by the

Hendersonville Exchange Club.

Dennis Allen has been a member of our department since July, 1985.

He has rose through the ranks from Firefighter to Senior Firefighter and was promoted to Captain in 2003. 

Dennis received his Master of Divinity from Warner Robbins University in March of 2005.

He has also been awarded the rank of Colonel Aide de Camp by the Tennessee National Guard.

Dennis received this honor for his work in training and coordinating emergency service chaplains to assist the

Tennessee National Guard in making death notifications to families of Guardsmen who have been killed in the line of duty.

He has truly excelled in his role of Chaplain for the Hendersonville Fire Department.

Dennis is always ready to offer his support to our citizens as well as our firefighters through counseling and prayer. 

He stays on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  For all your extraordinary efforts, the department is proud to name

Dennis Allen our Employee of the Year for 2009.
