Meet Cameron Blake Parker

Cameron served as the Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky Goodwill

Ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in 2005 and 2006.

He has become dear to the members of the Hendersonville Fire Department

for his bravery and courage while battling this terrible disease.

Cameron has always had an interest in firefighting and has worked to educate his

classmates and other people about fire safety to help prevent fires.

He has worked with our members during our Fill-The-Boot Campaign to raise funds

for children and adults affected with a neuromuscular disease.

On August 28th, Mayor Scott Foster appointed Cameron as Honorary Deputy

Chief of the Hendersonville Fire Department.

Cameron is an outstanding 9 year old student and third grader at Wright
