Department Welcomes

New Firefighters

The Hendersonville Fire Department was very fortunate to

receive our second grant from the Federal Government's

2008 Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program.

These funds enabled our department to increase our

staffing levels and bring on board additional

firefighters to serve our community.  These men began

their new careers on August 12, 2008.  They are currently

enrolled in the Tennessee State Fire Academy in Bell Buckle,

Tennessee where they will complete a 10-week firefighting training

program before they return to the department to begin

their medical training.
